Yes. In-network orthodontia coverage is provided for dependent children up to age 19. The plan will pay 50% of the cost of orthodontic services, up to a lifetime maximum of $2,500.
Orthodontia in progress is a covered benefit. The accumulation (funds) will be carried over from the prior carrier. All dentist/participants will be responsible for submitting a dental claim to Cigna on or after January 1, 2023, in order for orthodontia services to continue.

Yes, wisdom teeth extraction is covered. You will pay 20% coinsurance, after you meet the $50 calendar year deductible, up to the $2,500 calendar year maximum.
The Dental plan covers routine cleanings and exams twice a year. You can get them at any time during the year. They do not have to be six months apart.
Baker Hughes offers two Vision plan options – a High Plan and a Low Plan. Both plans provide comprehensive coverage for the same services.

No. An ID card isn’t required to receive vision services or care. Call a VSP provider to schedule an appointment and tell them that you’re a VSP member. The provider and VSP will handle the rest.

LASIK surgery is not covered under our plan. However, VSP does offer a discount on laser correction surgery. Your VSP provider must first qualify you as a candidate for laser surgery. Then VSP will refer you to a contracted facility. The average discount is 15% off the regular price or 5% off the promotional price. Discounts are only available from contracted VSP facilities.
No. You can only get contacts OR frames - you cannot get both.
