Short-Term Disability coverage is administered by Sedgwick.
All Baker Hughes employees are eligible to apply for STD for personal medically necessary reasons. STD will pay 100% of base pay for 8 weeks (depending on conditon) and 75% for weeks 9-26. There is no requirement to enroll in STD, this coverage is provided at no cost to you.
Long-Term Disability coverage is provided by Prudential.
Core Long-Term Disability coverage will pay 60% of your annual benefits base pay up to a maximum of $25,000 per month until you are no longer disabled or turn 65 years of age.
Benefits base pay is your pay excluding incentive pay, overtime, bonuses and any other form of special compensation.
