Certain participants in the Baker Hughes Company Pension Plan ("Plan") are eligible for the Special Election Window, a one-time opportunity to elect to receive your Plan benefit as a lump sum payment or take an annuity. You now have until December 9, 2024, to make your election.

Election Options

You can elect to receive your Plan benefit in three ways:

• Option 1 - Immediate Lump Sum Payment: Receive a single lump sum payment of your Plan benefit. It will be mailed to you at the end of December 2024.
• Option 2 - Immediate Annuity Payment: Start monthly benefit payments of your Plan benefit in December 2024. If you want to select this option, call 866‑333‑7309 immediately to request an Annuity Payment kit.‍
• Option 3 - Defer Payment Until Later: Begin receiving payment of your Plan benefit at a later date.

Take Note: If you are under age 55, this Special Election Window allows you to access your money before you are eligible to retire.‍ If you do not make an election by the December 9, 2024 deadline, you will need to wait until you are age 55 to start your pension benefit.

If you are age 55 or above, you can take your lump sum at any time regardless of this Special Election Window. If you do not make an election by the December 9, 2024 deadline, you can contact the Baker Hughes Benefits Center to start your benefit at a later date.
